Our Story
From Palermo to Siegburg
46 Years of Passion for Mediterranean Cuisine

Roberto & Gerda Parisi – Siegburg, c. 1979
Roberto Parisi
In 1979, Roberto Parisi left his hometown of Palermo and brought the flavors of Sicily to Siegburg. With the Ristorante Remise, he created a place where authentic Italian cuisine met Rhineland hospitality. For over 40 years, he cooked with the same passion he had learned as a child in his mother's kitchen.
By his side: Gerda Parisi, who helped build the restaurant and held the family together. Together, they wrote a piece of Siegburg's gastronomic history.

Mario & Alisa Parisi
Mario Parisi, son of Roberto, continued the family tradition with the Casbah Restaurant and became a food innovator. Alisa Parisi ran the Museumscafé in Siegburg for ten years – a place full of encounters and heart.
Together, they founded PARISI Food Brands in 2024 to transform Roberto's recipes and the family's Mediterranean tradition into premium products – for everyone who wants to bring the authentic taste of the Mediterranean home.
